Dell and Red Hat expands collaboration to Accelerate DevOps in multicolor Environment

Dell Technologies and Red Hat are expanding its long-standing relationship to offer new solution which simplify deploying and managing on prmesis, infrastructure containerized in multi cloud environments.

Gartner predicts that 90% of global organizations will be running containerized applications in production by 2027.1 However, as adoption grows, so do the challenges of deploying and managing container deployments in organizations and finding IT staff equipped of container skills.

The combined Dell and Red Hat solutions will help organizations accelerate the development and operation (DevOps) of cloud-native applications while removing IT management barriers.

Customers can get their on-premises infrastructure up and running faster and can more predictably run Red Hat OpenShift environments on Dell PowerFlex software-defined infrastructure.

Co-developed to run Red Hat OpenShift on bare metal, DevOps teams can provision compute and storage resources faster and provide infrastructure as code while automating DevOps processes, empowering developers to be the innovation engine for their businesses.

Consistent Management Across All IT Locations

Together, Dell and Red Hat are creating a hybrid cloud solution that more consistently extends the management of on-premises Red Hat OpenShift deployments across public clouds and the edge.

This automated infrastructure will be designed to use Dell software to fully integrate Red Hat OpenShift into Dell’s scalable software-defined storage and compute to provide cloud flexibility and help simplify on-premises operations.
