NVIDIA RTX 4050 May Launch in Two Months

NVIDIA RTX 4050 May Launch in Two Months: MEGAsizeGPU, a leading manufacturer of computer hardware, has released an updated launch timetable for the highly anticipated NVIDIA RTX 40 desktop GPU series. According to rumors circulating in the tech industry, NVIDIA is expected to unveil not one, but possibly three or four new GPUs in the coming months.

The RTX 4070 non-Ti GPU is reportedly set to be released on April 13th, while the RTX 4060 Ti is expected to follow at the end of May. However, there is uncertainty surrounding the release date of the RTX 4060 (Ti and non-Ti) in May, despite some sources claiming otherwise.

Perhaps the most significant news is the alleged release date of the RTX 4050 desktop card, which is said to be on the horizon. Although the specifications for this model are currently unknown, it is likely to feature an AD107 GPU, similar to the RTX 4060.

NVIDIA has a history of modifying the timing of new product launches, as seen with the previous-generation RTX 3050 GPU, which was released approximately a year later than expected. The desktop version was also delayed by seven months after the laptop version’s release, resulting in a four-month gap between the two.

If the rumors are accurate, the RTX 4050 desktop and laptop versions may have the same GPU specifications of 2560 CUDA cores, with the desktop version potentially featuring 6GB of RAM, similar to the laptop SKU. However, this would mean a downgrade in memory configuration compared to the RTX 3050, which featured 8GB of RAM.

As always, it is important to take these rumors with a grain of salt, as NVIDIA has yet to officially confirm any details about the upcoming RTX 40 series. Nonetheless, tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the release of these new GPUs, which are expected to offer significant improvements in performance and capabilities.
