Jarrod’s Tech compared the Blade 16’s Core i9-13950HX, a 24-core CPU, to the Core i7-12800H and Blade 17’s Core i7-12800H and Blade 17 CPUs. The GeForce RTX 4090 provides between 111% and 168% of the performance of the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, according to Jarrod’s Tech.

These performance disparities were established with a small sample size of triple-A titles, thus they may not be indicative of how the two cards compare across the board.

In addition, the results contain performance differences between DLSS 2 and DLSS 3, thus they do not accurately reflect the GeForce RTX 4090’s advantage over the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. If NVIDIA’s benchmarks are right, the GeForce RTX 4090 should offer roughly 50 percent greater rasterization performance than the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.

Jarrod’s Tech also compared the performance of the GeForce RTX 4090 with DLSS 3 on and deactivated in the same games. In conclusion, DLSS 3 raises FPS by 197% to 263% depending on the game, with NVIDIA’s performance claim of 300% appearing optimistic.
