Apple Announces Apple 27-inch Mini LED Display in 2023 Launch

Apple will present it 27-inch Mini LED display in first quarter of 2023, Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) analyst Ross Young announced on twitter. Earlier, it was on the card to be unveiled in 2022

The display was rumored to first launch earlier this year before Young pointed out that it could be released in October. That now seems unlikely.

Little is currently known about the display, except for its use of Mini-LED technology, which allows for improved color reproduction, deeper black levels and more vivid HDR images.

All of these features are beneficial for a professional display, but that also means you can probably expect a hefty price tag. With the Pro Display XDR priced between £4,599 / $4,999 / €5,499, it seems logical.

The reason for the reported delay is not clear, but is likely due to ongoing supply shortages. Apple has struggled to keep products in stock since the start of his COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. For example, if you ordered a new iPhone 14 Pro today, you’ll have a long wait for delivery. Older products such as his 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros don’t fare so well either.

Apple’s 2022 release isn’t ready yet. Rumor has it that there will be a new iPad and M2 Mac by the end of the year.
